Wool Coat - Fringe + Snaps

This quilt coat was made using an antique plaid wool blanket.  It is in amazing condition for its age.

The pattern created for this coat has been designed to fit a variety of bodies, intentionally boxy with a drop shoulder. It features a snap closure down the front.

This coat is medium weight, perfect for wearing in different ways in most seasons and has held up well over time. Always remember that this coat is made from an antique textile that has seen decades of love.

first, remember this is a piece of history - likely around 100 years old. you will see signs of wear, and likely see small tears and stains, which is totally normal! take proper care and be gentle - mending as needed.
